Hey mom, so I was at Chick- fil-A in the mall food court and me and my comp where just standing around. All of the sudden this lady walked up to us and said "hi elders, you dont know me and I dont know you but God told me I need a blessing." So I looked at my comp and I was like "can we even do a blessing of comfort in public"? turns out we can (I didn't know that) so we went over to a corner and we gave a blessing in the mall food court. So that was an experience.
The baptism was great! We baptised Alexandria and Corben. I baptised Corben and there was like a light in him after. I was little nervous but it was a really cool experience.
Our area is huge. My comp says that we need another group of elders in our mission. There are so many people.
This one guy we met, his name is Roy. He fell away from the Church when he was 18 and he joined the army. Now he's 25 has a wife and is about to have a kid and he wants to get back into the Church. So we are going to be meeting with him.
I think I'll be in El Paso for a couple of months because they keep you north or south for a bit. Well It's been 6 weeks and the mission is going good. It's hard and different but good. It's already been 2 months ( like in a week) crazy how time flies! Love you all.
